How to use Windows Password Recovery Professional

How to reset Windows local account password by using Windows Password Recovery Professional

Below are the steps to reset Windows local account password by using Windows Password Recovery Professional

The overall steps are:

Step 1 . Create a Windows password reset disk with CD/DVD/USB flash Drive.

1. Download the demo edition or purchase the full edition of Windows Password Recovery Professional online, install it on any accessible computer (not from PC you want to unlock). Then start to run Windows Password Recovery Professional. (Note: Here we take creating a Windows password reset disk with USB Flash Drive for instance.)

2. Insert a blank USB Flash Drive to the accessible computer, and then select your target USB by clicking USB icon. Next, click “Burn” button to start burning an ISO image file to the USB flash drive.

3 . In the pop-up window, select "Yes" to go on burning.

4 . The Windows password reset bootable USB flash drive has been created successfully, click "Close" to finish the operation.

Step 2 .Set your target computer to boot from USB Flash Drive

1. Insert the burned USB Flash Drive to your locked computer. Start computer and press “F2”,“F10” or “Delete” to enter BIOS setup.
Note: The key pressed to enter BIOS is different based on manufacturers, but F2, F10 or Delete are the most common keys.

2 . Use the arrow keys to select Boot tab, and then select Boot Device Priority and press Enter

3 . In Boot Device Priority, you will find Hard Disk Drives, then select it and press "Enter" key next. After that, select 1st Boot Device to USB, and then press F10 to save setting. Then your computer will start with the changed settings automatically

Note: If you are using bootable CD/DVD, you can refer to BIOS Setting for CD/DVD to learn how to reboot your computer from CD/DVD.

Step 3 .Reset lost or forgotten local Windows password with the burned USB Flash Drive

Option1. Remove Windows local password.

After restarting your computer, you will see the interface of Windows Password Recovery Professional.

1.Select Windows installation which you want to remove password from.

2.Select the user account whose password you want to remove and click "Reset" to proceed.

Note: You will see all user names of your accounts are displayed with the passwords showing Protected or Empty. Protected means you have a password for the user name. Empty means you do not have password for the user name, you can login to the account without password.

3. You will get a message "Remove the password successfully"! Then click "OK" to close the pop-up message window and then click "Reboot" to restart your computer and later you can login to Windows system without any password

Option2. Remove Windows Domain password

After restarting your computer, you will see the interface of Windows Password Recovery Professional.

1.Select Windows installation which you want to remove password from.
Tips: Tunepass Windows Password Recovery Professional cannot only support for Windows 8/7/Vista/XP, but also support for Windows Server 2008(R2)/2003(R2)/2000 etc

2.Select the user account whose password you want to remove and click "Reset" to proceed

3. You will get a message "Remove the password successfully"! Then click "OK“ to close the pop-up message window and then click "Reboot" to restart your computer and later you can login to Windows system without any password.
